Draft a reply from the page you're on
WriteGood is a Chrome extension for writing in text fields: email replies, comments, messages, and posts. Click its button next to a field to draft a reply that fits the conversation, or to check and rewrite what you've written.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store.
What it does
-
Draft
Writes a reply using the thread or post on the page, so you don't have to copy it into a chatbot. Add an instruction, like "decline politely", to steer it. Works on Gmail, LinkedIn, Reddit, GitHub, X, and most other sites.
-
Check
Finds spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. Accept or dismiss each fix. Choose US, UK, Canadian, or Australian English, and add words to your dictionary.
-
Rewrite
Makes your text clearer, shorter, more formal, friendlier, or more confident, or fixes every mistake while keeping your wording.
Your text stays yours
WriteGood sends nothing until you click. Before a draft, it shows exactly what it will send from the page. Text is used to write the response and isn't stored or logged by WriteGood. It never runs on password or payment fields. The privacy policy has the details, including which AI providers process your text.
